My Ecom Club emails every purchaser of its programs and asks them to participate in a survey related to their participation in these programs.

The surveys are conducted with a view toward determining the average or "typical" results of program participants. 173 "No Store" students responded; and 32 "Store" students responded.

Not all survey respondents responded to every question.

The survey process began in June 2018.

There are certainly many variables to take into account in determining what are the typical experiences and results of My Ecom Club students. The surveys take into account: prior experience, time expended, scope of the courses that were completed, program satisfaction, and types of transactions. Please note that store type, and products offered were not included in the analysis, and profit potential is greatly affected by specific market conditions.

The results of each survey are summarized below.

Since joining My Ecom Club, 52% (86/165) have built or started to promote an e-commerce store.

47% of responding participants (76/162) have spent money on marketing to promote their store and products.

62% of responding participants (93/151) operate their e-commerce business on Shopify.

17% of responding participants (26/154) operate their e-commerce business through services other than Shopify.

73% of responding participants (109/149) have been operating their e-commerce business for less than 3 months. 17% (26/149) have been operating their e-commerce business for 3-6 months; and the remaining 10% (14/149) have been operating their e-commerce business for longer than 6 months.

In their first month of operating their e-commerce business, 91% of responding My Ecom Club participants (135/148) earned less than $100.

In their first six months of operating their e-commerce business, 57% of responding participants (86/150) earned less than $500. 37% (55/150) responded that this question was not applicable to their business.

In their first year of operating their e-commerce business, 48% of responding participants (71/148) earned less than $1,000. 49% (72/148) responded that this question was not applicable to their business.

100% of responding participants (28/28) operate their e-commerce business on Shopify.

52% of responding participants (15/29) have been operating their e-commerce business for less than 3 months. 34% (10/29) have been operating their e-commerce business for 3-6 months; and the remaining 14% (14/149) have been operating their e-commerce business for 6-9 months.

In their first month of operating their e-commerce business, 93% of responding My Ecom Club participants (27/29) earned less than $100.

In their first six months of operating their e-commerce business, 76% of responding participants (22/29) earned less than $500. 3% (1/29) earned between $500 and $1,000; and 3% (1/29) earned between $10,000 and $50,000. 17% (5/29) responded that this question was not applicable.

In their first year of operating their e-commerce business, 50% of responding participants (14/28) earned less than $1,000. 46% (13/29) responded that this question was not applicable to their business.

Responding participants were from the following membership levels of My Ecom Club: Lemonade Stand 10% (3/29); Mom & Pop Shop 14% (4/29); Big Box Store 28% (8/29); and The Mall 48% (14/29).
